This Refund Policy governs payments made through the Qathiya Professional Billing Portal located at myqathiya.com.
The billing portal is used exclusively for processing subscription payments related to professional directory listings within the Qathiya legal directory platform available at qathiya.com.
1. Nature of Payments
Payments processed through the portal represent subscription fees for professional directory listings within the Qathiya legal directory.
Subscriptions may include:
• individual lawyer listings
• law firm listings
• enhanced directory visibility
• directory listing renewals
Subscriptions provide eligibility for listing within the directory but do not guarantee publication.
2. Verification Requirement
All directory listings remain subject to professional verification and administrative approval by Qathiya administrators.
Verification may include review of professional credentials, licensing status, or other documentation confirming eligibility.
Payment alone does not guarantee inclusion in the directory.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered in limited circumstances, including:
• duplicate payments
• technical billing errors
• payment submitted prior to verification where the listing is not approved
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the payment date.
Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for review.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided for:
• active directory listings
• completed listing activations
• expired subscription periods
• voluntary cancellation of listings or subscriptions
Once a directory listing has been activated and published, the subscription is considered fulfilled for the applicable billing period.
5. Refund Processing
If a refund request is approved, the refund will be issued through the original payment method where possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution involved.
Qathiya does not control processing timelines once a refund has been issued through the payment provider.
